Job summary

Creation Technologies is seeking an assembler to join our manufacturing team in Everett, WA. You will read MPIs, drawings, and verbal instructions to assemble PCBs, components, subassemblies, or systems using a variety of tools.

You must follow ESD and material handling guidelines and work toward quality metrics. The role involves soldering PTH and SMT, performing rework as needed, and staying within production schedules.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or 6 months to 1 year related experience.
• Component identification skills for PTH and SMT components.
• Familiarity with calibrated tools for assembly and verification.
• Soldering skills for PTH and SMT.
• Knowledge of IPC A-610 specifications.
• Ability to perform simple data entry and look up information.
• Good manual dexterity, vision, and ability to stay seated.

Responsibilities

• Reads and performs tasks per MPIs, production drawings, samples, and verbal instructions.
• Follows production schedules and quality goals.
• Performs complex assembly tasks with de-paneling and lead trimming; soldering PTH and SMT.
• Maintains proper ESD procedures and material handling guidelines.
• Understands metrics and how they relate to corporate objectives.
• Ability to perform basic math and measurements as part of manufacturing.
