Job summary

Heath Consultants Incorporated, based in Houston, TX, seeks an Electronic Assembler I to assemble, test, and calibrate portable instruments used by the utility industry to identify natural gas leaks. You will perform bench assembly, wiring, soldering, and validation of product quality.

Responsibilities include recording test data, supporting improvements, and ensuring adherence to safety rules. The role requires a high school diploma, electronics training, and 2–5 years of related experience;

Qualifications

  • Must have high school diploma or equivalent; two-year technical degree preferred.
  • Must have formal training in electronics technology.
  • Two to five years of related experience; computer literacy, Epicor a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Perform bench assembly and subassembly, including chassis wiring, harness making, loading and soldering PC boards.
  • Ensure products meet quality standards and recommend improvements.
  • Perform simple repairs during assembly.
  • Assemble wiring for various components and harnesses.
  • Cut and assemble wires and wiring harnesses.
  • Assemble and solder printed circuit boards.
  • Record, compute, and analyze test data.
  • Identify and report improper operations, faulty equipment, defective materials, and unusual conditions.
