Job summary

Total Safety is seeking an Electronics Technician to join their safety-focused team. The role performs maintenance, calibration, and repair of gas monitoring systems, emergency lighting, and ventilation equipment, and maintains radio communication gear.

You will handle documentation, assist with stocking and shipping, and travel to customer sites for short or offshore projects. A high school diploma or technical training is preferred, with strong electronics knowledge and a safety-conscious

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; associate/technical/military training preferred.
• Strong electronics knowledge and understanding of electrical principles.
• Ability to read schematics, blueprints and manuals; document maintenance activities.

Responsibilities

• Performs maintenance, repair, cleaning, and sensor change-outs on gas monitoring systems and ventilation equipment.
• Returns monitoring equipment to active status within established period.
• Performs routine calibration procedures on portable and fixed gas monitors.
• Learns to service hand-held and confined space radio communications equipment.
• Completes all service documentation and obtains customer signatures for invoicing and records.
• Assists with stocking, staging, and loading customer orders for delivery.
• Maintains clean and orderly work areas.
• Performs basic maintenance and care of assigned vehicle/trailer.
