Job summary

DC Army National Guard is seeking personnel to serve as Small Arms/Artillery Repairers. You will maintain and repair electronic systems for weapons, supported by hands-on training and a structured pipeline.

Training spans 10 weeks of Basic Training and 7 weeks of Advanced Individual Training, with paid instruction and a pathway to civilian work as an electronic or avionics technician, or missile facilities repairer.

Qualifications

• Understand electronic and mechanical principles and concepts.
• Ability to read schematics, drawings, blueprints, and wiring diagrams.
• Operate electronic, electrical, and mechanical test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain electronic systems that keep weapons firing for the Army National Guard.
• Perform duties related to Small Arms/Artillery repair as part of service requirements.
