Job summary

KBR's National Security Solutions team seeks an Electronic Warfare Subject Matter Expert to guide EW capabilities for Test & Evaluation and defense systems. The role involves providing expert knowledge on EW systems, coordinating with subcontractors, and advising senior leadership on threats and countermeasures.

You will travel to meet subcontractor project teams, and attend meetings at various US locations, contributing to the development of EW doctrine and project plans.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • 10+ years experience with threat representation.
  • 10+ years experience with electronic warfare techniques.
  • Possess (and be able to maintain) a Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Presentation/brief EW tasker problem set findings (white papers?)
  • Provide expert knowledge and guidance on electronic warfare (EW) systems, capabilities, and strategies to support OT&E
  • Lead assessments of current and emerging EW technologies, ensuring integration and operational effectiveness in defense systems
  • Advise senior leadership on EW-related threats, capabilities, and countermeasures in various operational environments
  • Support the development of EW doctrine, procedures, and policies
  • Assist in project management activities, including planning, execution, and monitoring of project progress.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and external organizations to ensure project requirements are understood and met.
  • Review project documentation.
  • Support project managers in the development and implementation of project plans and schedules.
  • Monitor project performance, investigate issues and recommend solutions, and provide regular updates to project managers.
  • Travel to meet subcontractor project team, visit corporate KBR office in Huntsville, AL, and occasionally attend project meetings at various US destinations.

ABOUT THIS POSITION

Join a diverse team of talented and inspired engineers and analysts to provide guidance and oversight for electronic warfare capabilities of threat representations for Test & Evaluation

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • 10 or more years experience with threat representation
  • 10 or more years experience with electronic warfare techniques
  • Possess (and be able to maintain) a Secret Clearance.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI with CI polygraph security clearance.
  • Previous experience in project coordination, administration, or management
