Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, military electronics training, or equivalent education/experience.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing electronic products, including SMT and through-hole soldering.
• IPC soldering certification preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot circuits using schematics and test equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters).
• Ability to solder through-hole and surface mount components.
• Basic lab safety knowledge.
• Strong problem-solving, willingness to learn, self-motivated.
• Ability to work independently or in a team.
• Basic MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and perform root-cause analysis on Musco electronic products returned from customer facilities.
• Support manufacturing by soldering and reworking assemblies that failed internal inspection or tests.
• Perform repairs on returned devices.
• Collect repair data and maintain repair database.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to less experienced RMA technicians.
• Assist with design, construction, and maintenance of test fixtures/test systems (hardware, software, mechanical).
• Assist with developing and documenting troubleshooting protocols.
• Provide feedback to product developers for design corrections and enhancements.
