Job summary

Chipton-Ross is seeking an Electronic Assembler 2 for a 12-month contract in Buffalo, NY. This role supports Aerospace/Defense projects and involves working 2nd shift (4:00 PM - 12:30 AM) with microscope-based microelectronic assembly and RF testing.

You will troubleshoot RF and digital circuits, document actions, and collaborate with engineers to refine procedures, while adhering to safety and quality guidelines.

Qualifications

• 2 years of assembly or electronic experience or an associate degree in electronics/technical discipline.
• Soldering experience required.
• Experience in a metric-based manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Test and troubleshoot RF products and digital circuit cards.
• Analyze equipment operating characteristics to isolate malfunctions.
• Perform RF tuning under a microscope and maintain/test equipment.
• Record data in travelers and shop floor systems; document actions taken.
• Collaborate with engineers to modify test procedures and ensure safety standards.
