Job summary

Bausch + Lomb in Greenville, SC, seeks an Electronic Technician I to program and troubleshoot control systems (PLCs, servo drives, HMIs) and assist in mechanical maintenance. The role requires reading electrical drawings, leading small projects, and driving continuous improvements.

Education: associate degree in maintenance or equivalent experience; 1 year in control systems; 2nd shift hours. Competitive hourly pay with shift differential and strong benefits.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or 10 years maintenance experience with HS diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of experience with control systems and electrical troubleshooting.
• Lean manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Program and troubleshoot control systems including PLCs, servo drives, AC drives, interface modules, DC drives, and HMIs.
• Read, redline, and create electrical drawings.
• Lead projects and/or work groups; coordinate projects and communicate results.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement projects following change management procedures.
