Job summary

Qualifications

High School Diploma or Equivalent.
1+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to understand and interpret gauges, tools, and instruments relating to product quality and equipment repair.
Good working knowledge of electricity and troubleshooting electrical issues.
Experience in welding.
Experience with PLCs, Drives and preferred.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and repair equipment in a timely, complete and cost-effective manner.
Perform duties to maintain production machines and other facility equipment.
Check and inspect assigned equipment during preventive maintenance; report findings to management.
Complete work orders and update maintenance tracking system.
Identify and correct electrical issues through knowledge of drives and PLCs.
Ensure machine productivity and quality after repairs, changeovers, and extended downtime.
Maintain inventory of repair equipment and supplies.
Respond quickly to issues that may put employees at risk and rectify immediate dangers.
Maintain building safety and appearance including utilities, ventilation, housekeeping, and plumbing.
Communicate issues with group leaders/maintenance manager.
