The Electronic Technician I at Bausch + Lomb will program and troubleshoot control systems including PLCs, servo drives, AC drives, interface modules, DC drives and HMIs. Mechanical skills are required to assist with repairs and preventive maintenance.
You will read, redline, and create electrical drawings, lead projects, and communicate results. Lean manufacturing experience is preferred. The position is on second shift in Greenville, SC with a $34.60/hr base pay plus $0.75 shift differential.

Primary responsibilities include the day-to-day programming and troubleshooting of control systems that include PLCs, servo drives, AC drives, interface modules, DC drives, and HMIs. Mechanical skills are required to assist with mechanical repairs and preventive predictive maintenance tasks.
Ability to read, redline, and create electrical drawings.
Demonstrates ability to lead projects and/or work groups, make sound decisions, use problem‑solving tools, multitask, coordinate projects, and communicate results. Previous lean manufacturing experience preferred. Must be a self‑starter, able to work with minimal supervision. Candidate must possess good interpersonal skills and the ability to work within a team‑oriented environment.
Identifies and implements continuous improvement projects following the change‑management procedures.
CMMS (MP2 preferred), PLCs (GE & Allen Bradley), Servo controls, drives, HMIs.
Education: Associate's degree in a maintenance related field or 10 years maintenance experience with a high school diploma or GED.
Experience: Minimum of 1 year experience working with control systems and electrical troubleshooting.
Preferred: Mechanical background.

Week 4: Sat 12:00 p‑12:00 a, Sun 10:00 a‑10:00 p, Mon/Tue 2:00 p‑10:30 p Off Wed‑Sunday
Rate of Pay: $34.60/hr plus $0.75 shift differential
