$35.00/hr - $45.00/hr

Travel: Willing to relocate to South Florida, willing to travel for 3 months training on product

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Electronics Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for troubleshooting electronic components, repairing faulty systems, and identifying the root causes of failures. You will utilize advanced diagnostic tools such as oscilloscopes, functional analyzers, and digital multimeters. The ability to read and interpret electronic schematics is essential. While aerospace experience is preferred, strong electronic experience from other industries is also highly valued.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot electronic components to the component level, identifying and resolving issues with precision.
  • Repair and replace faulty components and assemblies to restore full functionality.
  • Use oscilloscopes, functional analyzers, digital multimeters, and other diagnostic equipment to evaluate and diagnose electronic systems.
  • Perform detailed analysis and testing to ensure accurate problem identification.
  • Conduct thorough investigations to determine the root causes of electronic system failures.
  • Create and maintain detailed records of repairs, diagnostics, and testing procedures.
  • Interpret and follow electronic schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to guide troubleshooting and repair activities.
  • Work closely with engineering and maintenance teams to address complex technical issues and support system integration.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to team members and other departments as needed.
  • Adhere to industry regulations and company safety standards in all repair and diagnostic activities.
Qualifications
  • Associate’s degree or equivalent in Electronics, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related field is a plus. Relevant certifications are advantageous.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in electronics troubleshooting and repair. Aerospace experience is preferred but not required; strong electronic experience from other fields is welcome.
  • Proficiency in using oscilloscopes, functional analyzers, digital multimeters, and other diagnostic tools. Strong ability to read and interpret electronic schematics.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the capability to work independently on complex issues.
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in troubleshooting and repair.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills for documenting technical processes and interacting with team members.
