Job summary

AvGen Aerospace is seeking an Electronics Technician in Hialeah, FL to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electronic components for aerospace applications. You will work with schematics, blueprints, and test equipment to support production, testing, and maintenance.

Qualifications

AvGen Aerospace is an FAA,EASA and UK CAA-certified 145 Repair Station located in Hialeah, FL. We are a minority owned small business specialized in power generation, galley components, electrical harnesses and electro-mechanical units for commercial, cargo and military aircraft.

Job Description :

Electronics Technician troubleshoots, repairs, and maintains electronic components and systems used in aerospace applications — identifying failure causes, repairing, and ensuring systems meet technical specifications. This role works with schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation to support production, testing, and maintenance of aerospace electronic assemblies. Candidates from outside the aviation/avionics industry are encouraged to apply if they bring strong component-level troubleshooting experience, and a solid foundation in electrical theory.

Qualifications:
  • 1+ years as an electronics technician, preferably in aerospace, defense, or another highly regulated industry — strong candidates with comparable electrical experience are also encouraged to apply
  • Proven component-level troubleshooting and repair of analog and digital electronic systems
  • Familiarity with aerospace components (avionics, power supplies, sensors) a plus
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Use diagnostic equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies) to identify root causes of failure
  • Test and inspect repaired systems to verify functionality and confirm they meet design specifications
  • Prepare reports for management/engineering on failure trends and reliability improvements
