Job summary

Judge Group, Inc. is seeking an Electronic Technician in San Diego, onsite. The role is a contract position focusing on assembling, testing, and maintaining electronic systems, diagnosing circuit issues, and performing environmental stress tests to meet design specs.

The candidate will work with oscilloscopes, multimeters, RF generators, and spectrum analyzers, ensuring FOE/FOD/ESD safety compliance during repairs and testing.

Qualifications

• 4 years of related experience or electronics training equivalent to 2 years of technical trade school or military technical school.
• Experience troubleshooting analog and digital circuits.
• Familiarity with RF systems, digital/analog circuits, or embedded electronics.
• IPC‑A‑610 Class III Surface Mount.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, install, test, and maintain electronic systems, components, and equipment.
• Diagnose and repair circuit boards, wiring, and other electronic components.

Job Title: Electronic Technician

Location: ( Onsite)Employment Type: Contract

Assemble, install, test, and maintain electronic systems, components, and equipment. Diagnose and repair circuit boards, wiring, and other electronic components. Perform operational tests at environmental stress screening, vibration, and thermal levels to ensure compliance with design specifications. Identify and isolate malfunctions down to the component level. Conduct defined engineering tests and collect assigned data. Document test results, repairs and maintenance activities accurately. Perform diagnostics and root cause analysis using oscilloscopes, multimeters, RF generators, and spectrum analyzers. Maintain compliance with all Foreign Object Elimination (FOE) and Foreign Object Damage (FOD) safety, quality, and Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) standards.

Basic Qualifications

• 4 years of related experience or electronics training equivalent to 2 years of technical trade school or military technical school, Experience troubleshooting analog and digital circuits.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with RF systems, digital/analog circuits, or embedded electronics. Experience with Component-level troubleshooting Experience with VOM, DVM, and similar test apparatus. IPC-A-610 Class III Surface Mount.
