Job summary

Acro Service Corporation is seeking an Electronic Technician 3 in San Diego, CA to assemble, install, test, and maintain electronic systems and components. You will diagnose and repair circuits, perform environmental tests, and document results with precision.

Candidates should have 4+ years of related experience or electronics training equivalent to 2 years of technical school, with hands-on skills in analog/digital circuits and test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, RF generators,

Qualifications

• 4 years of related experience or electronics training equivalent to 2 years of technical trade school or military technical school.
• Experience troubleshooting analog and digital circuits.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, install, test, and maintain electronic systems, components, and equipment.
• Diagnose and repair circuit boards, wiring, and other electronic components.
• Perform operational tests at environmental stress screening, vibration, and thermal levels to ensure compliance with design specifications.
• Identify and isolate malfunctions down to the component level.
• Document test results, repairs, and maintenance activities accurately.
• Perform diagnostics and root cause analysis using oscilloscopes, multimeters, RF generators, and spectrum analyzers.
• Maintain compliance with safety standards (FOE/FOD/ESD) as applicable.

Job description

Assemble, install, test, and maintain electronic systems, components, and equipment. Diagnose and repair circuit boards, wiring, and other electronic components. Perform operational tests at environmental stress screening, vibration, and thermal levels to ensure compliance with design specifications. Identify and isolate malfunctions down to the component level. Conduct defined engineering tests and collect assigned data. Document test results, repairs, and maintenance activities accurately. Perform diagnostics and root cause analysis using oscilloscopes, multimeters, RF generators, and spectrum analyzers. Maintain compliance with all NGC CAT 2 Foreign Object Elimination (FOE) and Foreign Object Damage (FOD) safety, quality, and Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) standards.

Basic Qualifications for Electronic Technician 3

4 years of related experience or electronics training equivalent to 2 years of technical trade school or military technical school, Experience troubleshooting analog and digital circuits.

Preferred Qualifications for Electronic Technician 3

Familiarity with RF systems, digital/analog circuits, or embedded electronics. Experience with Component-level troubleshooting Experience with VOM, DVM, and similar test apparatus. IPC-A-610 Class III Surface Mount.
