Job summary

Infosoft Inc. in San Diego's Rancho Bernardo facility seeks an Electronic Technician 3 to support the Avionics Development Center. You will assemble, test, and maintain electronic systems, diagnose circuit issues, and perform environment-stressed testing to meet design specs.

Responsibilities include component-level fault isolation, data collection during tests, and documentation of repairs. Proficiency with RF/Digital/Analog electronics and instruments like oscilloscopes and spectrum analyzers

Qualifications

• 4 years of related experience or electronics training equivalent to 2 years of technical trade school or military technical school.
• Familiarity with RF systems, digital/analog circuits, or embedded electronics (preferred).
• Experience with Component-level troubleshooting. Experience with VOM, DVM, and similar test apparatus.

• Perform operational tests at environmental stress screening, vibration, and thermal levels to ensure design specifications.
• Identify and isolate malfunctions down to the component level.
• Conduct defined engineering tests and collect assigned data.
• Document test results, repairs, and maintenance activities accurately.
• Perform diagnostics and root cause analysis using oscilloscopes, multimeters, RF generators, and spectrum analyzers.
• Maintain compliance with FOE, FOD, and ESD safety and quality standards.

Job description

Our client is a large Aerospace Industry Manufacturer.

We are looking for an Electronic Technician 3 to support our Avionics Development Center. As a member of the Avionics Development Center, you’ll get to support critical fabrication and testing efforts in both a production and development environment. This position will be on-site at our facility in Rancho Bernardo, CA.

• Assemble, install, test, and maintain electronic systems, components, and equipment.
• Diagnose and repair circuit boards, wiring, and other electronic components.
• Perform operational tests at environmental stress screening, vibration, and thermal levels to ensure compliance with design specifications.
• Identify and isolate malfunctions down to the component level.
• Conduct defined engineering tests and collect assigned data.
• Document test results, repairs, and maintenance activities accurately.
• Perform diagnostics and root cause analysis using oscilloscopes, multimeters, RF generators, and spectrum analyzers.
• Maintain compliance with all NGC CAT 2 Foreign Object Elimination (FOE) and Foreign Object Damage (FOD) safety, quality, and Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) standards.

Requirements:

• 4 years of related experience or electronics training equivalent to 2 years of technical trade school or military technical school; experience troubleshooting analog and digital circuits.
