We are seeking a skilled professional to conduct hands-on technical evaluations of sophisticated electronic components designed for defense and aerospace environments. Your primary focus will involve troubleshooting, fault isolation, and system integration, including the execution of formal acceptance and development testing. Success in this role requires a disciplined approach, strong communication abilities, and a proactive mindset. You will be responsible for managing dynamic, thermal, and functional test cycles, which involves configuring and operating specialized equipment to meet strict Acceptance Test Procedures. The role demands physical dexterity for handling delicate circuit cards and fixtures, alongside a commitment to maintaining precise test logs and clear shift-to-shift reporting. Furthermore, you will contribute to lab safety, equipment upkeep, and process standardization while collaborating closely with engineering teams to drive continuous improvement.

Core Requirements

• Possess an Associate degree, technical certification, or equivalent military training.
• Maintain U.S. Citizenship to comply with federal government mandates.

Additional Qualifications

• Background in USAF or USN military service is considered an asset.
• Familiarity with Guidance and Navigation electronic systems is advantageous.
• Previous experience conducting environmental testing is a plus.
• Proficiency with standard test instrumentation such as DMMs, oscilloscopes, power supplies, and logic analyzers.
• Maintain high precision in your work to ensure all step-by-step procedures are followed exactly as instructed.
• Demonstrate adaptability by supporting various shift schedules, including weekends and overtime, to ensure project timelines are met.
• Bring at least four years of hands-on experience within the electronics field.
• Utilize technical expertise and schematic reading skills to help the team resolve complex technical issues efficiently.
• Produce accurate and high-quality technical documentation to support the creation of engineering orders and data records.
