Position: Electronic Technician.

We invite applicants to apply for the position of Electronic Technician to work in the troubleshooting, test and calibration of smart instrumentation systems and power control applications. We are a dynamic small company with a high number of engineering challenges with opportunities for career development and market growth. We welcome applicants with an Associate or Bachelor of Science degree in Electronics with a desire to learn.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Test, calibrate and troubleshoot electronic assemblies, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, military, and scientific applications, applying principles and techniques of electronic engineering.

· Design or modify test and calibration fixtures, review test procedures and contribute to final test procedure release for testing products.

· Originate design change requests to promote manufacturability and test documentation.

· Ensure that all electronic assemblies meet industrial and military standards of workmanship that are applicable.

· Complete test datasheets for traceability of test results.

Skills

· Knowledge of digital electronics including embedded processors, flip/flops, digital communications.

· Knowledge of operational amplifiers applications for the processing of analog signals.

· Familiarity with the use of Oscilloscope, Multimeters, Frequency Counters, Signal Generators, etc.

· Capable of reading schematics.

· Able to use Microsoft Excel and Word.

· Able to solder thru-hole and surface mount components.

· IPC J-STD or 610 certification a plus.
