Position: Electronic Technician

We invite applicants to apply for the position of Electronic Technician to work in troubleshooting, testing, and calibration of smart instrumentation systems and power control applications. We are a dynamic small company with numerous engineering challenges and opportunities for career development and market growth. We welcome applicants with an Associate or Bachelor of Science degree in Electronics and a desire to learn.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Test, calibrate, and troubleshoot electronic assemblies, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, military, and scientific applications, applying principles and techniques of electronic engineering.
• Design or modify test and calibration fixtures, review test procedures, and contribute to final test procedure release for testing products.
• Originate design change requests to promote manufacturability and improve test documentation.
• Ensure all electronic assemblies meet applicable industrial and military standards of workmanship.
• Complete test datasheets for traceability of test results.

Skills:

• Knowledge of digital electronics, including embedded processors, flip/flops, and digital communications.
• Knowledge of operational amplifiers for analog signal processing.
• Familiarity with oscilloscopes, multimeters, frequency counters, signal generators, etc.
• Ability to read schematics.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Ability to solder thru-hole and surface-mount components.
• IPC J-STD or 610 certification is a plus.
