Job summary

United Radio is seeking skilled Technicians to join our expanding team for electronic security system installation and maintenance in an in-person capacity.

You will install and troubleshoot video surveillance, access control, intrusion detection, and fire/life safety systems while reading blueprints and following cabling standards. Benefits and growth opportunities accompany a hands-on, team-driven environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in electronic security system installation & maintenance.
• Experience with video surveillance, access control, intrusion detection, or fire/life safety systems preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

We are seeking skilled Technicians to join our growing team. Description of Talent: $30-$50 /hr (based on skill set)

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electronic security systems, including video surveillance, access control, intrusion detection, and fire/life safety systems
• Work with leading security platforms (Avigilon,Axis, Genetec, Milestone, Salto etc.)
• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation
• Ensure compliance with industry cabling standards (structured cabling, fiber optics, low-voltage systems)
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain professionalism in all client interactions

We prefer:

Experience: 2+ years in electronic security system installation & maintenance
Technical Skills: Networking, IP-based devices, cabling, and troubleshooting
Certifications (Preferred):

• CCTV: Avigilon, Genetec, or Milestone
• Access Control: Salto, or similar

Soft Skills:

• Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork abilities
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 50 lbs. and work at heights
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record
