Job summary

Allied Universal Technology Services is seeking a Project Manager to plan, organize, direct, and control project-planning and performance for electronic security installations. You will oversee scheduling, field installation, commissioning QC/QA, and budget success while coordinating with vendors and customers.

Role requires six years of PM experience, PMP preferred, and strong communication. The position covers multi-site projects, budget control, and adherence to timelines with a focus on

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associates Degree preferred.
• At least six years of project management experience in electronic security industry preferred.
• Proven track record managing 4+ million dollar projects to schedule and budget.
• Expert knowledge of PM techniques and tools; general knowledge of contract laws and regulations.
• PMP from PMI preferred.
• Ability to work independently and handle tasks of moderate to high complexity.
• Factory certifications in relevant technology platforms are a plus (Software House, Lenel, Brivo, Open Options, Exacq, American Dynamics, Milestone, OnSSI, etc.).
• Proficient with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project and SharePoint).
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an active and thoughtful communication pattern with vendors, internal and external customers while balancing time versus profits.
• Allocate and maximize resources through project planning to achieve sales and project management objectives.
• Establish knowledge of industry practices across markets.
• Submit Change Orders and adjust project plans as needed.
• Support invoicing and collections by ensuring terms are met and invoices are accurate.
• Manage project budget and P&L responsibilities.
• Prepare installation plans, set goals, and implement procedures.
• Coordinate schedules with trades and maintain records of status and material flow.
• Define project problems and ensure profitability using financial tools.
• Plan engineering, installation and subcontracting activities; supervise labor and subs.
• Prioritize workload to deliver quality results on time and within budget.
• Troubleshoot issues and escalate when needed; develop contingency plans.
