Job summary

KMT Systems, Inc. is a family-owned security and low‑voltage technology provider serving the Atlanta metro since 2005. We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to guide commercial security projects from planning to closeout across metro Atlanta.

You will own full lifecycle delivery of access control, CCTV, intrusion, and structured cabling, coordinating with customers, GCs, and internal teams to ensure on-time, on-budget results. A driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Hands-on background in commercial electronic security or low-voltage systems.
• Proven experience leading commercial projects including schedules, labor, materials, budgets, and change orders.
• Ability to interpret construction drawings, floor plans, scopes of work, and specifications.
• Exceptional organization, communication, problem-solving, and follow-through; coordinates field teams, customers, GCs, and stakeholders.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Hold full lifecycle delivery of commercial access control, CCTV/video surveillance, intrusion alarm, and structured cabling projects—from sales handoff through closeout.
• Lead preconstruction reviews: scopes of work, plans, specifications, equipment lists, labor estimates, and customer requirements.
• Develop and manage schedules, manpower planning, material coordination, and milestone tracking.
• Coordinate across customers, general contractors, technicians, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams.
• Monitor budgets, labor, materials, and job performance for on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Manage risks and resolve issues; communicate schedule or scope concerns before escalation.
• Oversee closeout: punch lists, customer training, system documentation, and turnover.

You’ll work across customer sites throughout metro Atlanta and collaborate closely with both KMT locations based on project needs.
