Job summary

KMT Systems is seeking an experienced Commercial Security Installation Technician to join our Atlanta-area team. You will install, wire, terminate, test and troubleshoot access control, CCTV, intrusion and low-voltage systems at customer sites, reading plans and construction drawings to ensure compliant installations.

This role requires 5+ years of commercial security experience or strong transferable low-voltage skills, valid driver's license, and the ability to work independently or with

Commercial Security Installation TechnicianAtlanta Metro Area/McDonough and Marietta locationsFull-TimeKMT Systems is seeking an experiencedCommercial Security Installation Technicianto join our growing team. We are looking for a hands-on technician with commercial experience, installing, wiring, terminating, testing and troubleshooting access control, video surveillance/CCTV, intrusion, and low-voltage systems.What We’re looking for·Commercial security, access control, CCTV/video surveillance or related low-voltage installation experience·Strong low-voltage wiring, termination, testing and troubleshooting skills·Ability to read plans and construction drawings·Working knowledge of basic IP networking, including addressing and PoE·Commercial jobsite experience preferred·Strong problem solving, communication, and customer service skills·Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record·Ability to work independently and as part of project team·Ability to work from ladders/ lifts, pull cable, work above ceilings, and perform the physical duties of commercial low-voltage installation5+ years of commercial security experience is preferred, but we will consider candidates with strong transferable low-voltage experience and demonstrated technical ability.Why KMT Systems?We’re an established, family-owned security and low-voltage company serving the Atlanta metro area since 2005 with locations in McDonough and Marietta.
