An established industry player in arts education is seeking an Electronic Resources Librarian to manage the lifecycle of electronic resources for the library. Reporting to the Head of Cataloging and Metadata Services, the Electronic Resources Librarian manages and supports the entire lifecycle of electronic resources for the Library and Learning Commons including the acquisition, licensing, troubleshooting, and assessment of e-books, electronic journals, DDA plan, and databases. This position will work closely with colleagues to implement and maintain access to electronic resources and be the expert for issues related to access. The Electronic Resources Librarian collects usage data and creates reports for resource cancellations and/or renewal decisions. In collaboration with colleagues, this position will have a strong role in evaluating and developing workflows, policies, and procedures around electronic resources management.
