East and North Hertfordshire Teaching NHS Trust is recruiting a Band 5 Electronic Prescribing Support Pharmacy Technician for the Mount Vernon Cancer Centre Pharmacy. You will support the EP system for Systemic Anti-Cancer Therapy, provide helpdesk support, and train staff.

Responsibilities include dispensary duties, stock control, chemotherapy desk operations, and patient counseling. Applicants must be registered with the GPhC and possess an NVQ3 or BTEC Cert, with prior pharmacy services

Qualifications

• Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council and holds an NVQ3 or BTEC Cert.
• Previous experience in pharmacy services is essential.
• Background in Wellsky dispensing systems or electronic prescribing systems is highly desirable.

Responsabilités

• Support development, configuration, testing and ongoing management of the Electronic Prescribing (EP) System for Systemic Anti-Cancer Therapy (SACT).
• Provide helpdesk support and train pharmacy, nursing and prescribing staff.
• Assist in the dispensary, manage stock control, operate the chemotherapy desk, and counsel patients on their medication.
