Job summary

ECU Health Pharmacy is seeking Pharmacy Technicians to support dispensing activities and to compound hazardous and non-hazardous sterile products within ECU Health Medical Center. Qualified applicants must have a High School Diploma or GED (or higher) and be enrolled in a program leading to a diploma or equivalent.

Registration with the NC Board of Pharmacy within 30 days of hire is required. Shift details: 20 hours per week, mostly first shift with occasional evenings, and every sixth weekend

Position Summary

Pharmacy Technicians are a foundation of the pharmacy department and drive many of the workflow activities. The expectations are to support the mission, vision, and core values of ECU Health and the pharmacy department by providing not only foundational dispensing activities but also compounding hazardous and/or non-hazardous sterile products.

Must have High School Diploma, GED, or higher or be enrolled in a program that leads towards a diploma or equivalent. Must register with NC Board of Pharmacy within 30 days of hire

Pay Range

$18.01 - $26.25

Other Information

Shift Details

• 20 hours per week
• Primarily first-shift hours, with occasional evening shift requirements
• Weekend coverage required every 6th weekend
