Job summary

CTDI is seeking an Electronic Mechanical Specialist to set up, configure, test, and troubleshoot custom lab environments for CTDI testing equipment at our US operations facilities.

The role requires an Associate's degree in Electronics, hands-on electronics/engineering experience, and ability to read wiring diagrams. Occasional travel (up to 20%) is required. We offer weekly pay and a full benefits package including health, vision, 401(k), and life insurance.

Qualifications

• IPC 610 certification or A+ Certification preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret wiring schematics/diagrams.
• 2 years in electronics or computer engineering field.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Operate PC with Microsoft and Linux OSs; execute CLI commands.
• Basic understanding of Virtual Machines.

Responsibilities

• Configure, test, and troubleshoot electronic equipment and PCs.
• Set up, configure, test, and troubleshoot custom lab test environments.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software connectivity issues.
• Qualify and run tests on various communications equipment.
• Travel to assist other branches to set up equipment (20%).

Electronic Mechanical Specialist is responsible for the set-up, configuration, testing, and troubleshooting of custom lab test environments for the proprietary CTDI testing equipment at our operations facilities.

Responsibilities

• Configure, test, and troubleshoot electronic equipment and PC’s.
• Set-up, configure, test, and trouble shoot custom lab test environments.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software connectivity issues.
• Qualify and run tests on various communications equipment.
• Ability to travel as required to assist other branches to set up equipment (20%).

Essential Skills and Experience

• IPC 610 certification or A+ Certification is preferred
• Ability to understand a DOS and LINUX Shell Scripts
• 2 years of experience in electronics or computer engineering field
• Ability to read and interpret wiring schematics and diagrams
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
