Job description

STS Systems Defense, LLC (SSD) is looking for the right individual to help develop our Electronic Manufacturing Capability here in San Antonio to meet demands throughout the US.

Our need is someone who has hands-on experience in the field of Electronic Manufacturing, Repair, and Testing to develop and grow with a new line of business in our company. While our current business line focuses on DoD professional engineering and technical services, we aim to expand into other government and commercial markets.

What You'll Do

1. Develop our capability and assist in developing new business.
2. Set up, schedule, and process manufacturing projects from production to shipment while implementing quality assurance procedures and industry best practices.
3. Keep management informed of procurement issues, anticipated cost overruns, or schedule delays.
4. Interface with vendors/suppliers, AED engineers, and clients.

What You Bring

1. 5+ years of recent relevant experience.
2. High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree is a plus.
3. Strong understanding of electronic manufacturing practices.
4. Organizational skills and the ability to plan, prioritize, and execute tasks independently.
5. Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Project, Access, etc.).
6. Military experience is a plus but not required.
