Job summary

Pivot-EDM is seeking an Electronic Manufacturing Engineer just outside Omaha, Nebraska. The role focuses on PCBA manufacturing, cable and box build assembly, and driving quality, delivery, and cost improvements in a hands-on production environment.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in engineering and 3–7 years of experience, with strong analytical and communication skills, and experience with PCB fabrication, CAD software, and fixtures/tools development.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
Strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
Ability to listen well and communicate clearly.
Experience interpreting schematics and fabrication drawings.
Basic working knowledge of PCB manufacturing (Gerber/CAM).
CAD software experience (SolidWorks or equivalent).

Responsibilities

Support SMT and through-hole assembly processes, including testing and conformance.
Resolve manufacturing and process issues to improve quality, delivery, and cost.
Detail product costs and prepare quoting packages.
Develop and document new manufacturing processes for new products.
Collaborate with NPI groups to ensure manufacturability and testability.
Identify and procure fixtures/tools; support equipment selection for production.
