Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace US LLC is hiring an Electronic Machine Builder to assemble and inspect high-quality devices per engineering specs. You will set up and monitor production, ensure safe operations, and contribute to continuous improvement at the site. The role includes overtime and a 5th shift schedule on select days.

The position requires a High School Diploma and electronics training, with transcripts. Training may occur on a different shift.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma required.
  • Two or more electronics training classes with transcripts required.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble mechanical/electronic devices per specs, prints, or instructions.
  • Check balance, alignment, tension, spacing, and record parameters.
  • Use manual and automated checking equipment for verification.
  • Calculate data and calibrate assemblies to specifications.
  • Test faulty assemblies with mechanical equipment and determine repairs.
  • Disassemble, replace parts, readjust and reassemble devices as needed.

Job description

an Electronic Machine Builder will Produce high quality products and services for our customers. You will assemble and inspect product to ensure the highest quality product is provided to our customers. You will be responsible for your work area to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the area. You will set up and monitor the production of product in your area and participate in the continuous improvement process at the site to address safety, production and quality improvements

this role will support 5th shift: Monday & Friday 10:00 am- 6:00 pm and Saturday & Sunday 10:00 am- 10:00 pm

please note training may take place on a different shift, and the role may include mandated overtime

Responsibilities
  • Assemble mechanical and/or electronic devices and assemblies referring to engineering specs, prints, layouts and/or verbal instructions.
  • Check and adjust for balance, alignment, tension, spacing, physical dimensions, outputs and adjustable parameters and record non-adjustable parameters.
  • Use a variety of manual and automated mechanical, electrical and optical checking equipment.
  • Calculate raw data and adjust/calibrate assemblies to achieve the final specification as required.
  • Check faulty assemblies using mechanical checking equipment.
  • Analyze and diagnose findings to determine defects and method of repair.
  • Disassembles, replaces parts, readjust and reassemble devices to complete repairs.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma
  • Two or more classes of progressive electronics training from an accredited college or universi ty . (Intro to Electronics I and II, etc) Must be able to provide transcripts

Hourly Pay Range

The hourly range for this position is $31.86. Please note that this compensation information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.
