Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace is seeking an Electronic Technician II to lead a team of skilled technicians in assembling and testing electronic components and systems. This role supports the 2nd shift with overtime as required, providing leadership, technical guidance, and collaboration across departments to ensure quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in electronic assembly and testing.
  • Proven leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to support 2nd shift and overtime.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise a team of electronic technicians in the assembly and testing of electronic components and systems.
  • Ensure all assembly processes are efficient and accurate, meeting quality standards and production targets.
  • Provide technical guidance, troubleshoot issues, and train team members while monitoring production metrics and safety.
  • Check and adjust balance, alignment, tension, spacing, and record non-adjustable parameters.
  • Use manual and automated mechanical, electrical, and optical checking equipment.
  • Calculate raw data and calibrate assemblies to meet final specifications.
  • Disassemble and replace parts, readjust and reassemble devices for repairs.
  • Analyze and diagnose findings to determine defects and repair methods.

In this role, you will impact the efficiency and quality of our electronic assembly processes, ensuring that our products meet stringent performance and reliability standards. Your leadership will be crucial in fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.

THIS ROLE WILL SUPPORT 2ND SHIFT, plus any mandated overtime

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise a team of electronic technicians in the assembly and testing of electronic components and systems
  • Ensure all assembly processes are efficient and accurate, meeting quality standards and production targets
  • Provide technical guidance and support, troubleshoot issues, collaborate with other departments, train and develop team members, monitor production metrics, and maintain a safe work environment
  • Check and adjust for balance, alignment, tension, spacing, physical dimensions, outputs and adjustable parameters and record non-adjustable parameters.
  • Use a variety of manual and automated mechanical, electrical and optical checking equipment.
  • Calculate raw data and adjust/calibrate assemblies to achieve the final specification as required.
  • Check faulty assemblies using mechanical checking equipment.
  • Analyze and diagnose findings to determine defects and method of repair.
  • Disassembles, replaces parts, readjust and reassemble devices to complete repairs.
Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

  • 5+ years of experience in electronic assembly and testing
  • Proven leadership experience in a manufacturing or production environment
  • An ability to suppot 2nd shift, plus any mandated over-time

  • Associate's degree in Electronics or a related field
  • Strong understanding of electronic components and assembly processes
  • Experience with quality control and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues

Hourly Pay Range

The hourly range for this position is $37.82. Please note that this compensation information serves as a general guideline.
