Electronic Instrumentation Technician 1st Shift

Location: Cherry Hill, New Jersey

Our client is seeking a skilled Electronic Instrumentation Technician to join their team in maintaining and troubleshooting high-speed equipment, instrumentation, and process control systems. As a key member of their Operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of their production lines, minimizing downtime, and meeting production goals.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, instrumentation, and control issues on production equipment
• Perform preventative maintenance on assigned equipment
• Maintain electronic equipment, maintenance logs and documentation
• Provide technical support to other plant departments
• Use electronics, instruments, and controls to perform system analysis
• Assist in set-ups, changeovers, and start-up adjustments of equipment
• Communicate with manufacturers worldwide for support
  
  

About You

• High School education and Certificate of completion from 2-3 years electrical/instrumentation trade or technical school desired
• Minimum five (5) years maintenance experience maintaining and troubleshooting high-speed equipment, instrumentation, and process controls
• Understanding of instrumentation and controls, electrical prints, and P&IDs
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with OEMs, contractors, and vendors
• Ability to work shifts, including weekends and holidays, and maintain gowning status
