Cherokee Federal, Moody AFB, GA, seeks an Electronic Flight Bag / Electronic Knee Board Manager Support to maintain EFB/EKB systems, coordinate software updates, and train users for flying operations. This on-site role requires an active Secret clearance or the ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities include patching servers, scheduling upgrades, developing procedures, and supporting inventories and cybersecurity documentation. Strong communication with wings and training offices is essential.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience troubleshooting computers and loading software at squadron level.
• Knowledge of basic computer operations, Microsoft Office, and Apple iOS.
• Military experience directly related to the position.
• Valid REAL ID driver’s license.
• Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
• Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal.

Responsabilités

• Keep EFB/EKB servers patched and operational on the Air Force computer network.
• Schedule server and system software upgrades with vendors to minimize disruption to daily operations.
• Work with Wing and Group offices to develop EFB/EKB procedures for missions, scheduling, and training.

• Test new software versions, collect improvement requests, and provide recommendations to the EFB/EKB Working Group.
• Manage devices and assigned assets, support annual inventories, and coordinate with Stan/Eval and Training offices.

Essential Functions, Duties & Responsibilities:

Includes the following:

• Keep EFB/EKB servers patched and operational on the Air Force computer network.
• Schedule server and system software upgrades with vendors to minimize disruption to daily operations.
• Work with Wing and Group offices to develop EFB/EKB procedures for missions, scheduling, and training.
• Train squadron personnel on system use and provide periodic training across system modules.
• Test new software versions, collect improvement requests, and provide recommendations to the EFB/EKB Working Group.
• Manage devices and assigned assets, support annual inventories, and coordinate with Stan/Eval and Training offices.
• Keep required cybersecurity documentation current and accessible to authorized personnel; support related flying-operations devices and maintain an accessible continuity book.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

No supervisory/management authority

Basic Qualifications:

• At least one year of experience troubleshooting computers and loading software at a minimum of squadron level.
• Knowledge of basic computer operations, Microsoft Office, and Apple iOS; competence with Apple iOS.
• Military experience directly related to the position
• A valid REAL ID driver’s license.
• This position requires an active Secret clearance or the ability to obtain a Secret clearance to be considered.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
• Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal.

Work Environment:

Work is performed primarily in a climate-controlled environment.
