Job summary

Cherokee Federal is seeking an Electronic Flight Bag / Electronic Knee Board Manager Support at Moody AFB, GA. The role focuses on maintaining EFB/EKB systems, coordinating software updates, and training aircrew in flight operations.

On-site duties include device management, inventory support, and collaboration with Wing/Group offices to ensure mission readiness and cybersecurity compliance. Active SECRET clearance is preferred.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience troubleshooting computers and loading software at squadron level.
• Knowledge of basic computer operations, Microsoft Office, and Apple iOS.
• Active military experience directly related to the position.
• Valid REAL ID driver's license.
• Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal.

Responsibilities

• Keep EFB/EKB servers patched and operational on the Air Force computer network.
• Schedule server and system software upgrades with vendors to minimize disruption to daily operations.
• Work with Wing and Group offices to develop EFB/EKB procedures for missions, scheduling, and training.
• Train squadron personnel on system use and provide periodic training across system modules.
• Test new software versions, collect improvement requests, and provide recommendations to the EFB/EKB Working Group.
• Manage devices and assigned assets, support annual inventories, and coordinate with Stan/Eval and Training offices.
• Keep required cybersecurity documentation current and accessible to authorized personnel; support related flying-operations devices and maintain an accessible continuity book.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications

• At least one year of experience troubleshooting computers and loading software at a minimum of squadron level.
• Knowledge of basic computer operations, Microsoft Office, and Apple iOS; competence with Apple iOS.
• Military experience directly related to the position
• A valid REAL ID driver's license.
• This position requires an active Secret clearance or the ability to obtain a Secret clearance to be considered.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
• Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal.
