Job description

EDI Analyst | Integrations | Fully Remote / Home Based
Salary: Above Market + / + Bonus
EDI | B2B Integrations | APIs | Cloud Transformation

Some integration roles are about keeping the lights on. This one gives you the opportunity to help shape what comes next. EDI currently supports over £300m+ revenue for the organisation.

I'm working on an opportunity for an experienced EDI Analyst / Technical Integrations Specialist to join an established, large-scale business undergoing a significant transformation of its integration landscape.

The business is moving towards a more standardised, scalable cloud environment, introducing a third-party managed EDI service and exploring new API integration capabilities. They need someone who can support what exists today while helping build the foundations for tomorrow.

What will you be doing?
  • EDI & Integrations: Configure, maintain and support existing EDI services, working with technologies such as EDIFACT, TRADACOMS, X12, XML and SFTP.
  • Transformation: Help migrate in-house EDI integrations to a third-party managed service, including testing and integration with core ERP systems.
  • Customer & Supplier Onboarding: Work directly with external partners to configure integrations, troubleshoot issues and ensure services run smoothly.
  • Technical Analysis: Understand business requirements, investigate complex issues and translate technical challenges into practical solutions.
  • Reporting & Support: Support customer catalogues, reporting solutions and third-line technical issues, with opportunities to contribute to improvements across the wider IT estate.

You'll work closely with internal technical teams, business stakeholders, customers, suppliers and third-party providers. Communication is just as important as your technical knowledge.

What are we looking for?

Someone who has solid hands-on experience implementing and supporting EDI technologies, understands B2B integrations and enjoys working across both technical and business-facing responsibilities.

You'll ideally bring:

  • Experience with EDI standards and technologies such as EDIFACT, TRADACOMS, X12, XML and SFTP.
  • A working knowledge of APIs and bespoke integration solutions.
  • Experience in implementation, technical support or third-line support environments.
  • The ability to engage customers and suppliers, understand their requirements and resolve technical challenges.
  • Strong documentation, communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working within IT projects and managing competing priorities.
Why consider it?
  • The opportunity to play a genuine part in a major integration transformation.
  • A varied role spanning established EDI technologies, APIs, ERP integrations and future cloud solutions.
  • Exposure to a broad range of stakeholders and technical initiatives.
  • A supportive IT environment that encourages development, collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • A transparent annual bonus scheme and a wider benefits package.
