Work schedule: 3 ½ days on, 3 ½ days off, rotating weekly.

Responsibilities

Electronic Controls Technician responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Providing technical guidance to support production throughput, efficiency, cost reduction, and safety improvements
• Supporting training objectives in PLC and Controls for Maintenance Technicians
• Developing controls systems and procedures
• Working with engineering to document and standardize process improvements
• Supporting existing equipment technically
• Troubleshooting hardware and software issues
• Performing electrical installations and repairs (480V to 24V)
• Troubleshooting and repairing conveyor lines and Allen Bradley HMI units
• Multi-tasking in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Qualified candidates should possess:

• Solid experience and knowledge of PLC operations, functions, and troubleshooting
• Experience with Rockwell Automation systems, RSlinx, RS Logix 500/5000, AB Panel-view, Modbus, Modicon, Ignition, SCADA, Digital and Analog I/O, troubleshooting from 24V to 480V
• Good communication skills with maintenance and engineering teams
• Ability to read electrical prints and use common tools
• Fluency in English preferred
• Flexible hours (on call)
