MAHLE Engine Comp.(US) in Russellville, AR is seeking an Engineering Intern - Electronic Controls to support design and troubleshooting of electronic circuits and PLC/CNC systems within a manufacturing environment.

The internship offers hands-on experience with the engineering team, training on machine software and documentation updates, and opportunities to contribute to cost-reduction projects while developing in C++, SolidWorks, and AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a four-year engineering program and be 1-2 years away from graduation.
• Willingness to work in a plant/manufacturing environment.
• Experience with software such as Microsoft Office tools, SolidWorks and AutoCAD; PLC/HMI programming software; C++, Visual Studio.

Responsibilities

• Assist with designing and troubleshooting electronic circuits, electrical control cabinets, and integrated PLC/CNC systems.
• Assist with maintaining machine software, machine backups, and maintenance electrical PM routines.
• Analyses operational problems and develops modifications in design/programming to improve efficiency.
• Assist with training in installation, maintenance, and repair techniques.
• Assist with updating documentation for maintenance procedures.
• Assist in process improvements and cost reduction projects.
• Participate and/or lead problem solving activities.
• Other duties as assigned
