Based in Shelby Township, MI, this internship places you at the heart of innovation, whereyou’llwork alongside experienced engineers to design, develop, and implement advanced automation systems. Whether you're passionate about control systems, this role allows you to apply your academic knowledge to real-world challenges, develop technical skills, and contribute to impactful projects. You’ll be part of a collaborative team that values creativity, precision, and continuous learning.This position requires participation in our Immersion Day at our Cleveland, OH headquarters during one of your first few weeks. Lincoln Electric will provide and cover all travel arrangements and expenses.

Basic Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

• Anengineering degree in any of the following disciplines: Electrical or Computer Engineering
• Minimumoverall GPA of 3.0
• Experience with CAD software such as SolidWorks, Inventor, or AutoCAD
• Coursework or experience in programming (e.g., Python, C/C++, PLC ladder logic)
• Familiarity with electrical circuits, schematic reading, or mechanical design
• Proficiencyin Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Knowledge of BOMs, print reading, and manufacturing routing
• Exposure to PLC/HMI programming and troubleshooting
