Job summary

MAHLE Engine Comp.(US) MO in Morristown, TN is seeking an Electrical Engineer to plan, design, and support electromechanical systems. You will develop programs for production equipment, troubleshoot PLCs and robotics, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to implement efficient processes.

Responsibilities include documenting procedures, leading quality initiatives, and creating drawings and schematics with CAD.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering from four-year college or university; or equivalent experience.
Knowledge of PLCs, robotics, HMIs, CNC, and motion systems, CAD.

Responsibilities

Develop and modify programs for production equipment; optimize machining and assembly processes.
Program and troubleshoot PLCs, robotics, HMIs, CNC, and motion systems.
Collaborate with production, engineering, management, and cross-functional teams to implement processes, resolve issues, and communicate technical information.
Develop and maintain technical documentation, including work instructions, reports, visual process diagrams, and prototype/serialization records to ensure consistency and traceability.
Lead and support quality initiatives including root cause analysis, corrective actions, FMEA, PPAP activities, audits, and acting as a liaison for customer quality issues.
Use CAD to provide drawing for new or modified mechanical/structural parts, electrical schematics, pneumatic schematics and hydraulic schematics.
Review the PM system to help improve machine performance and reliability.
Works with manufacturers and vendors to help solve problems with their equipment.
Develop and write task analysis, cost analysis and proposals for implementation of new processes or improvements to existing processes.
