Job summary

The Keystone Distinction Group in New Hampshire is seeking an Electronic Bench Technician to join their lab team in Salem/Nashua. The role involves hands-on electro-mechanical assembly, alignment, calibration and diagnostic troubleshooting of high-precision equipment, with a focus on reliability and quality.

You will support lab operations, perform bench repairs, manage service inventories, coordinate shipments, and collaborate with engineering teams both locally and overseas.

Qualifications

• Technical degree or equivalent experience; engineering degree NOT required but must read schematics and have experience soldering.
• Experience with a wide variety of technical products in manufacturing or service.
• Proficient with electronic test equipment (oscilloscopes, DVMs, signal generators).
• Read schematics, diagrams, and technical orders to determine assembly methods.

Responsibilities

• Perform electro-mechanical assembly, alignment, calibration and diagnostic troubleshooting on high-precision equipment.
• Support lab operations, bench repairs, manage service inventories, and coordinate shipments.
• Liaise with internal teams and engineering personnel locally and overseas to ensure performance and reliability.
• Help develop standard repair and integration procedures.
• Oversee inventory management with a part-time administrator.

POSITION: Electronic Bench Technician

LOCATION: Salem / Nashua, NH

Company in southern New Hampshire is recruiting a detail-oriented Electronic Bench Technician to join their team.

Individual will perform hands-on electro-mechanical assembly, integration, alignment, calibration, and diagnostic troubleshooting on high-precision equipment.

They will support lab operations, perform bench repairs, manage service inventories, coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments, and liaise with internal teams and engineering personnel (both locally and overseas) to ensure product performance and reliability.

(Engineering degree is NOT required but individual must be able to read schematics and have experience soldering)

Responsibilities

• Experience with operational and technical aspects of a wide variety of technical products
• Capable of reading / understanding manufacturing and process documentation, including schematics
• Experience using a variety of hand tools and test / measurement equipment
• Participate in the development and implementation of training courses
• Conduct routine repair, diagnosis, service, support and upgrades of company’s products. (company will train)
• Help develop standard repair and integration procedures.
• In charge of overall inventory management to assure the inventory is accurate with the help of a part time administrator

Requirements

• Technical degree or equivalent experience (Engineering degree NOT required but must be able to read schematics and have experience soldering)
• Experience in a technically related manufacturing or service industry
• Strong troubleshooting skills, will align with overall responsibility
• Proficient with using electronic test equipment required, e.g., oscilloscopes, digital voltmeters, and signal generators
• Read schematics, diagrams, and technical orders to determine methods and sequences of assembly
• Data input and summary computer skills
• With company / govt interaction, individual must be U.S. Citizen with Passport
• Prior experience in defense/aerospace electronics industries a plus.
• Military technical or vocational training in Electronics Technology a plus.
• No remote workers – must be onsite.
