Job summary

Bank of Eastern Oregon Inc. seeks an Electronic Banking Specialist to join the eBanking team in Heppner, Oregon. This role focuses on the Unposted Items Desk, ensuring timely processing of transactions and adjustments while delivering excellent support to customers and staff.

Ideal candidates have strong computer skills, enjoy problem-solving, and 1–2 years of banking experience. The position is full-time, 8:00 am–5:00 pm, with a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision

Qualifications

• Strong computer and technology skills with problem-solving ability.
• Prior banking/financial institution experience (1–2 years) preferred.
• Detail-oriented with accuracy in processing items.

Responsibilities

• Process unposted items and non-sufficient funds daily.
• Prepare entries to adjust general ledger accounts for returned items.
• Review reports on returned and nonpayment items.
• Communicate account adjustments to customers and staff.
• Cross-train and support other eBanking duties.

About The Position

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Electronic Banking Specialist to join our eBanking team in Heppner, Oregon. This position is ideal for someone who has strong computer and technology skills and enjoys problem-solving. Previous banking or financial institution experience of 1-2 years is preferred.

Responsibilities

This primary focus of this role will be working the Unposted Items Desk, ensuring timely and accurate processing of transactions and account adjustments while providing excellent support to customers and bank staff.

• Daily processing of non-sufficient funds and unposted items
• Prepare entries to adjust general ledger accounts affected by returned items
• Review and processing of reports on returned and nonpayment items
• Communicate with customers and bank personnel regarding adjustments to accounts
• Cross-train and provide support in other areas of eBanking dept

Position is full-time with schedule of 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday-Friday.
