Job summary

Bank of Eastern Oregon in Heppner, OR seeks an Electronic Banking Specialist to join the eBanking team. You will manage the Unposted Items Desk, ensure timely processing, and support customers and staff with account adjustments.

The role requires strong computer skills, problem-solving, and a detail-oriented mindset; prior banking experience is preferred. Full-time, 8:00 am–5:00 pm, Monday–Friday; competitive benefits included.

• 1-2 years banking or financial institution experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Daily processing of unposted items and non-sufficient funds in the Unposted Items Desk.
• Prepare entries to adjust general ledger accounts affected by returned items.
• Review and process reports on returned items and nonpayments.
• Communicate with customers and bank staff regarding account adjustments.
• Cross-train and provide support in other eBanking areas.

ABOUT THE POSITION

We are seeking a motivated and detail-orientedElectronic Banking Specialist to join our eBanking team in Heppner, Oregon. This position is ideal for someone who has strong computer and technology skills and enjoys problem-solving. Previous banking or financial institution experience of 1-2 years is preferred.

This primary focus of this role will be working theUnposted Items Desk, ensuring timely and accurate processing of transactions and account adjustments while providing excellent support to customers and bank staff. Key responsibilities include:

• Daily processing of non-sufficient funds and unposted items


• Prepare entries to adjust general ledger accounts affected by returned items


• Review and processing of reports on returned and nonpayment items


• Communicate with customers and bank personnel regarding adjustments to accounts


• Cross-train and provide support in other areas of eBanking dept
