Job summary

Trustco Bank is seeking an Operations Specialist in Electronic Banking to maintain bank systems, process duties accurately, and handle wire transfer verification. The role involves coordinating with branches on Online Banking, Bill Pay, and Debit Card applications, and liaising with other financial institutions for wire-related matters.

Candidate will review and process Debit Card and Online Banking applications, monitor daily maintenance requests, and post transactions to customer accounts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent education or experience.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Well organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and work to time sensitive deadlines.
• Ability to work well independently and in groups.
• Working knowledge with Microsoft Office Programs; Excel and Word.
• Access to reliable transportation.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Willingness to participate in ongoing training and development.
• Ability to lift 10-20 lbs., stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with branch/department personnel via E-Ticket and telephone regarding inquiries relating to Debit Cards, Online Banking and Zelle.
• Communicates with other financial institutions regarding wire.
• Processes/Review Debit Card and Online Banking Applications.
• Process/Review incoming and outgoing Wire Transfers.
• Monitors Daily Maintenance Request.
• Posts transactions to accounts.
