Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking an Electronics Assembly Technician in Camden, NJ. The role focuses on cable/harness assembly, hand soldering, and assembly support for electronic cabinets and electro-mechanical systems. A High School Diploma and readiness for IPC-610/IPC-620 certifications are required.

Employees work a 9/80 schedule, with every other Friday off, and must be able to obtain a US security clearance. Benefits include health and disability insurance, 401(k) match, and PTO options.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret electronic and mechanical diagrams and assembly instructions.
• Able to obtain IPC-620 and/or J Standard 001 certifications.
• Demonstrated aptitude for cable/harness mechanical assembly.
• Ability to tolerate exposure to solder paste, flux, and solder fumes.
• Must be able to sit and stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to obtain US Secret Security clearance (as applicable).

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret electronic and mechanical diagrams and assembly instructions.
• Assemble cable/harness and mechanical components for electronic cabinets and electro-mechanical assemblies.
• Conduct hand soldering, wiring, inspection, and point-to-point wiring as required.
• Maintain documentation and ensure quality control of assemblies.
