Job summary

Private Manufacturing Company in New Jersey is seeking an Electronics Assembler to assemble, test, and inspect electronic components and products. You will read schematics, solder connections, and ensure quality standards are met while maintaining production records.

You will work with engineers and technicians to improve processes, follow safety rules, and operate SMT machines for prototype and LRIP quantities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical training preferred.
• Basic electronics knowledge and ability to read schematics or technical drawings.
• Experience with soldering, assembly tools, and records/documentation.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electronic components, subassemblies, and products using hand tools, power tools, and automated equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Solder and connect wires, cables, and circuit boards.
• Inspect and test finished products for defects or malfunctions.
• Troubleshoot and repair faulty components or assemblies.
• Maintain accurate production and quality records.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment.
• Collaborate with engineers and technicians to improve processes.
