Job summary

Banner Engineering's Aberdeen Plant is seeking Electronic Assemblers to build electronic systems and support structures using hand tools and soldering. Day shift Mon-Thurs 6:00am-4:30pm, reports to Production Manager.

You will read drawings, wire and test boards, ensure quality, and participate in continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment with climate-controlled workspace.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Knowledge of basic math/calculation.
• Must be able to read and understand English.
• Ability to use a computer, hand tools, gauges and testers.
• Attention to detail and quality.
• Ability to work independently and in a group setting.

Responsibilities

• Assemble subassemblies and final product per matrix docs and SOPs.
• Wire, solder, and encapsulate PC boards using hot soldering iron.
• Test, label, package, and deliver to stockroom.
• Adjust/repair components to meet specs.
• Read drawings, work orders, and reports to determine materials.
• Position and align parts for wiring and assembly.
• Maintain production/time/part waste reports.
• Consult supervisors/engineers to plan and solve production issues.
• Explain assembly procedures to other workers.
