Job summary

Leidos is seeking an Electronic Assembler to support FAA NEXCOM at the Staging Facility in Independence, MO. You will construct and assemble electronic subassemblies, racks, and harnesses, using metal shop equipment and precision soldering techniques.

This role supports critical voice communications for air traffic control centers and radar installations. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent and at least four years of related assembly experience, proficiency with Microsoft

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and at least 4 years of experience with communication rack assembly.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to obtain Public Trust Clearance and pass drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Construct and assemble electronic subassemblies and component racks to FAA standards.
• Operate metal shop equipment and perform soldering and testing of boards and harnesses.
• Inventory parts and interpret technical drawings and engineering documents.
• Move sub-assemblies with pallet jack or forklift and maintain documentation.
