Job summary

Aerosphere Power and Navigation in Budd Lake, NJ is seeking an Electronic Assembler to perform precise electronic and electromechanical assembly of PCBs, harnesses, and subassemblies in accordance with IPC and J-STD-001 standards.

The role requires 3-5 years of hands-on experience, IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 certifications, and the ability to work with small components under a microscope. Aerospace or high-reliability background is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in electronic or electromechanical assembly.
• IPC-A-610 certification or equivalent training preferred.
• Current J-STD-001 solder certification required.
• Ability to work with small components and fine pitch soldering under a microscope.
• Experience in aerospace, defense, or high-reliability manufacturing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform electronic and electromechanical assembly of PCBs, harnesses, and subassemblies per IPC and J-STD-001 workmanship standards.
• Utilize hand tools, soldering equipment, and microscopes to assemble and inspect components.
• Read and follow engineering drawings, schematics, and assembly instructions accurately.
• Conduct visual inspection of solder joints and component placement to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve assembly issues.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow all ESD and safety protocols.
