AppleOne Employment Services is hiring Medical Device Assemblers in State College, PA to support medical device manufacturing through precision assembly, soldering, inspection, and documentation.

Candidates should be detail-oriented with strong manual dexterity and the ability to work with small components. The role is a 12‑month contract, onsite, Monday–Friday 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent manual dexterity.
• Ability to work with small or delicate components and sit for extended periods.
• Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions.
• Basic computer skills.
• Previous assembly, manufacturing, or production experience.
• Experience working under a microscope.
• Hand soldering or bonding experience.

Responsibilities

• Assemble miniature medical device components using written procedures, drawings, and detailed manufacturing instructions.
• Perform precision assembly tasks including hand soldering, bonding, and cable assembly.
• Work under a microscope and use small hand tools such as tweezers, picks, and X-Acto knives.
• Read and interpret work orders, diagrams, and manufacturing instructions.
• Perform product inspections and basic testing to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Complete production and quality documentation accurately and maintain organized records.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area while following all quality and safety procedures.
• Support continuous improvement and other production activities as needed.

Compensation & Schedule

• Pay: $17–$24/hr, depending on experience
• Type: 12-Month Contract
• Location: State College, PA
