Job summary

An established industry player is seeking a detail-oriented Assistant Electronic Assembler to join their dynamic production team. In this role, you will be responsible for various tasks including masking, unmasking, and coating circuit boards, as well as basic soldering and preparing subassemblies. The ideal candidate will have strong manual dexterity and the ability to read product documentation in English. Qualifications

  • At least 6 months of experience as an Assistant Electronic Assembler or 2 years of related experience.
  • IPC and J-standard certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Tasks may include masking, unmasking, coating circuit boards, and basic soldering.
  • May assist with operating production machines like the wave solder or SMT machine.

Skills

Ability to read and understand product documentation in English
Good eye/hand coordination
Manual dexterity
Ability to work in all areas of electronic production
Capability to wear a respirator for extended periods

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
IPC and J-standard certification

Tools

Basic hand tools
Small air/electric tools

Job description

  • Tasks may include masking, unmasking, coating circuit boards, cutting, stripping, tinning wires, preparing subassemblies, and basic soldering.
  • Use of basic hand tools, small air/electric tools, and presses.
  • May assist with operating production machines like the wave solder or SMT machine.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • IPC and J-standard certification is a plus.
