We're partnering with an innovative Bay Area technology company developing advanced sensing and automation products used in robotics, autonomous systems, and industrial applications. We're seeking a detail-oriented Electronics Assembler to support the assembly, testing, and production of precision electronic and microelectronic products in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
What You’ll Do
- Assemble precision electronic and microelectronic components using detailed work instructions, engineering drawings, and manufacturing procedures.
- Perform wire bonding, die placement, adhesive dispensing, encapsulation, and other microelectronics assembly processes.
- Operate high-precision assembly equipment and production tools while maintaining quality and efficiency standards.
- Inspect assemblies using microscopes and other inspection equipment to ensure product quality.
- Support manufacturing builds, new product introductions (NPI), and continuous process improvements.
- Troubleshoot basic assembly issues and work with Manufacturing and Process Engineers to resolve production challenges.
- Document production activities and maintain accurate manufacturing records.
- Follow ESD, cleanroom, and quality procedures to ensure product reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet production schedules and quality objectives.
Qualifications
- Associate's degree, technical certification, or equivalent hands-on experience in Electronics, Manufacturing, or a related field.
- 2+ years of electronics, semiconductor, microelectronics, or precision assembly experience.
- Hands-on experience with wire bonding, die placement, adhesive dispensing, encapsulation, SMT, or similar precision assembly processes is highly preferred.
- Experience working with microscopes, precision hand tools, and high-accuracy assembly equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed assembly procedures.
- Ability to read manufacturing documentation, work instructions, and engineering drawings.
- Experience working in an ESD-controlled and/or cleanroom manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with equipment such as DATACON, MRSI, or similar precision assembly platforms is a plus.
- Basic Python programming or scripting experience is a plus, but not required.
